Leadership Camp for Local Teens (RYLA)
Rockdale Rotary Club sponsors two to four tenth- and eleventh-grade students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) each year. RYLA is a weeklong leadership training camp for students sponsored by Rotary clubs throughout Central Texas. RYLA students receive training from successful professionals, with particular emphasis on leadership and the importance of ethics and community service, and take part in group activities. They often are or become leaders in their schools and communities and in their professional pursuits.
