Since 1953, Rockdale Rotary Club has been making a difference in our community and beyond. Rockdale Rotarians are people of action, representing a variety of professions, experiences, and perspectives, who commit their passion, energy, and ideas to transforming lives through Rotary.
Our members also contribute to their communities as leaders in their businesses and professions, and in other community roles.
Rockdale Rotary Club meets three times each month for fellowship over lunch and to:
  • learn from experts speakers on various topics
  • stay up to date on happenings in our community
  • plan service projects
We also meet once a month for happy hour, just to socialize and enjoy each other and our guests!

Service Above Self

The primary mission of Rockdale Rotary Club is to serve our community through both service projects and financial donations. Our many ongoing service projects include:
  • Awarding multiple academic, vocational, and continuing education scholarships
  • Sponsoring a character-building program at Rockdale Intermediate School
  • Sending high school students to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
  • Delivering a free dictionary to all third-graders in South Milam County
  • Sponsoring monthly lunches and an annual holiday party at the Rockdale Senior Citizens Center
