Each year, Rockdale Rotary Club sponsors two to four tenth- and eleventh-grade students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), a weeklong leadership training camp for students sponsored by Rotary clubs throughout Central Texas. This year, Rockdale Rotary sponsored two students, Sam Battles and Zoe Clore, both of Milano High School. During the event, several Rotarians traveled to Killeen, Texas, to help serve dinner one evening of RYLA.
